Ryan integrates a wide variety of manual therapy techniques during the rehabilitation process including principles from Maitland, McKenzie, Mulligan, and Astym to compliment specific therapeutic and corrective exercises.
Prior to his Physical Therapy career, Ryan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport Science and Psychology from Loras College. While at Loras, Ryan interned as a strength and conditioning coach and worked with each Loras College athletic team to improve performance. Ryan then attended Des Moines University, where he was given the opportunity to work in acute care, skilled nursing, neurologic rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedics settings throughout his post-graduate studies. After graduating in 2013 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, he decided to pursue a career as an outpatient clinician.
In his free time, Ryan participates in athletic activities including basketball, softball, sand volleyball, and cycling. He has developed special interests in nutrition, mobility and exercise technique. He enjoys researching and educating himself to optimize his own personal wellness, as well as sharing his knowledge and guidance with the patients he sees every day.
